PROGRAM FEES

There will be a $500 program fee for those selected to participate.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Source Song Festival is not able to provide housing or meals for participants, but is willing and able to help participants find local accommodations for reasonable rates.

FESTIVAL SELECTIONS

Each singer-pianist team selected to participate in the Festival will be asked to have four (4) songs prepared for masterclasses and workshops during the week.

(1) a song in the French language (2) a song in the German language (3) a song written by a MN composer to be chosen by the duo team. (4) a song in any language which supports or showcases an aspect of the participant’s artistic purpose.

Please note: All repertoire chosen for the festival is required to be memorized and performance-ready prior to arrival in the Twin Cities. This includes the MN Composer piece chosen by the duo.

For those applying as individual applicants: you will be required to arrive no less than one half day early to rehearse with your duo partner. Because of the brevity of the program and lack of rehearsal time outside of workshops and masterclasses, this is non-negotiable.
